With Church Launch, you can rest assured that you, the vision God planted in your heart, and the members of your church are protected. We come along side you as your outside legal counsel. You can pursue your vision, while we do all of the heavy lifting. Speaking of heavy lifting, here is what some of that entails.
Incorporation*
Incorporation provides you and your church with a strong legal shield, ensuring your limited legal liability, and protecting you and your members. Reynolds Law Group drafts articles of incorporation that reflect your vision and mission, give you the ability to license and ordain ministers if needed, and that serve as the legal birth of your organization. In addition, incorporation clients also receive a free year of Your Church Attorney service, as well as policies and procedures to help keep your church safe and secure.
FEIN
We obtain your personal Federal Employer Identification Number, and provide you with all of the information you need to open a church bank account, enabling you to take tax-deductible tithes and offerings. This number is used to identify your corporation and is needed for business and federal purposes. This number may also be known as a Tax ID Number.
Bylaws*
Other than the Scriptures, your bylaws are the most important document in your church. Reynolds Law Group works with you to personalize Bylaws that protect your vision, your ministry, and your members, adopting the governmental structure that reflects your ministry priorities, and allows the church’s vision to be kept clear.
Policies
Your church needs policies to guide decisions and protect its mission and members. Reynolds Law Group provides Church Launch clients with Keeping Them Safe, a turnkey policy to help reduce the risk of sexual abuse of children and youth, and Church DocuSource, a program that allows your church to download up to 100 different documents every church needs.
Tax-Exempt Status
We understand that planting a church can be a difficult journey, which is why we have made it simple, secure, and affordable for every church to obtain tax-exempt status. We complete any applications or forms for you and navigate the process with state and the Internal Revenue Service, if needed.
Ordination
Many ministers believe that they are only able to plant a church if they have either been ordained or licensed as ministers of the gospel. However, after establishing a church on a solid legal foundation, you can become ordained right through the very church you started. We provide all of the needed paperwork that empowers your ministry to ordain ministers, including the founder.
Affordable
12 Monthly Payments, Plus Government Fees
The Church Launch program costs $2,100.00 and includes everything described above, plus one year of membership in the Your Church Attorney program (a $1,200.00 value) included for free. If the cost is prohibitive, it can be broken down into four monthly payments of $525.00.
